CHRISTMAS!!

so this christmas time was a lot of fun we had a very eventful week. it all started on Sunday we got to have a Holman christmas early this year and we got to have the holiday tradition of pizza faundue, next we got to open the gifts that we got for each other.. and we were so spoiled! then we played games as a family and that was a blast.. since the week started so great we were so excited then we had the BIG Durfee side party (with my dad's whole family) and Kaden got to play with all the kids and ring the bells.. then that night we did my family party.. and Kaden was so excited he wanted to play with everyones toys!! then that night we let him open his christmas jammies and told him the story of Christ's birth.. then on christmas morning WE woke Kaden up at 8.. i just couldnt wait any longer i wanted to see rob and kaden open there special gifts. when we gave kaden a gift to open he gave us a look like "really you woke me up for this" and then he saw what was in the package and he couldnt wait for the next one.. this year we were very spoiled people really thought about us and what we needed.. like my parents knew i needed earing (they are sooo pretty) and got rob a teribite hard drive (more memory for our computer for our movies) and kaden got toys he wouldnt put down.. and robs parents got us a faucet.. and i had called Ben to help install our new faucet and he and alisha had our names for christmas and they decided to get us a sink because our last one was horrible... so christmas afternoon they came over and installed our new sink and faucet!!! and wow it looks great and i have sold my old one already.. so now i do the dishes so happy and look great doing it with the jewelry that my parents and rob got me.. and rob got the netbook he has been wanting forever!! and Kaden got rocky the robot and a train to ride and a few other toys..it was a great holiday time

so when i get ready for the day i have started to let Kaden hang out on my bed and i put disney channel on for him.. and then he goes and lays down on daddy's pilllow and pulls the covers over him!! it was so cute i only sat him on my bed and he did the rest, he is just too cute!!

so Kaden and I went to Walmart and we decided to roam the store and look at just about everything.. and when we made it to the fish he got so excited, almost excited as he was in the toys!

thanksgiving

so this year we had a great thanksgiving!! we went to Jon and Desirae's home and Kirk had made a great dinner!! hes an awesome cook.. but before we went there we saw kirk and denece's home as it being built its coming along really fast! but then we got there and jon and rob of course went to the x-box because rob brought the new call of duty modern warfare 2 game and us girls talked and kindof helped kirk then it was time for food.. and they made yams just how i like it.. i was stoked and they were yummy!! we finished up with the movie UP because its Kadens favorite movie and had a great desert! we got the chance to drive robs grandpa and grandma holman home and kaden was bing so cute with them and dancing the whole way and talking and singing.. but on our way home we decided we should stop my my parents and it was great to just sit down and talk with them ffor awhile and kaden got to play with cousins till they went home then it was just him and payton.. by the time we made it home kaden was exhausted!! it was a great day and we are so thanksful for the life we have and the great families that we have!!

my 23rd birthday

so today i turned 23.. and i didnt think it was that big of a deal.. but my cute Robby wanted me to have a special day!! so he worked it out to take a few hours off work and to come and take me shopping, and bought me just what i wanted!! then he took me to olive garden (which is one of my favorites) and i was surpised with a few friends for dinner, then we went home to find out that rob had invited his family and my family over for cake!! luckily i had done my cleaning.. and robs sis Desirae had let Kaden come over and play this afternoon and his mom watched Kaden during dinner.. and then they had him home for cake!! it was a great day!! thanks for all birthday wishes, i had a great birthday!!

halloween

well better late then never..so this year Kaden was a dragon.. and he didnt know what to think with no one looking like themselves.. some scared him but then some he didnt seem to mind.. so rob loved to trick or treat when he was growing up so i thought why not have rob trick or treat with Kaden as i watched them go door to door with most of his cousins.. and about halfway through he knew what to do and he would get so excited and try to run ahead of us and did not want us helping him.. he would get the candy and say thank you it was so cute!! he is just getting so big so fast!

the new house

so wednesday oct 28 we moved to our new garage then thursday we moved it all in.. because i had the carpets cleaned thursday morning and that was a fun task but Kaden is adjusting well to his new room and home! he has been so cute, like when it bed time we tell him ok lets go upstairs for bed and he hurries over and scurries up the stairs.. its soo cute and hes really understanding and listening! we went to our new ward on november 1st and its a cute ward they relief society and bishop came over that same week and the next sunday we went to sacrament meeting and our records were read in.. and we had to leave because i had a fever.. i ended up fevering all week and everything a bad cold brings on (not to be confused with swine flu) but luckily my hubby took great care of me but the third sunday we woke up after 10am and our ward is at 9.. oops ..we slept through are alarm but i made breakfast and we still had a great sunday!! but we are loving our new place and cant wait to see what the future has!!

rob found a snow suit for Kaden and he has wanted to find him since he was born and he found one he liked.. but when we put it on him we took his red jacket off and after we got the snow suit on him he grabed his red jacket and wanted that on too so we took a picture of him with his snow suit and his jacket on.. cause that what he wanted!! we have such an adorable little man!

what Kaden has learned

so almost a week ago we were having our family dinner and said "prayer time, fold your arms" and Kaden did it!! so now whenever we say fold your arms he does it.. and just the other day Kaden wanted something so i told him if you say please (in sign language) you can have it and guess what he did it!! and its just cute to see him blow kisses.. and he looks too cute in his batman pjs.. we love our Kaden.. so enjoy

his sweet new dance move

so wait till about the 45 second mark and you will see he has made a new dance move.. we were happy to have caught it!! on another note we have taught him the greatest thing before being potty trained.. once his diaper is changed he now knows to take it to the garbage can all by himself, he will also take Seth's when he is hanging out with us! he is just such a great helper, we are so lucky to have our wonderful Kaden!!

our great news

so back on Aug 4 we put on offer on a cute townhome that would be great for our growing family.. it was a short sale and we were told that it should be a fast one at that!! but on sept 23 we got word that the twonhome is ours.. we plan to close by oct 22 and we are sad to leave our great apartment and having family so close but we know its time for us to be on our own!! the townhome has 1801 sq feet 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and a fun family room.. the back yard opens up to the common area and the basketball court so that will be fun and hopefully we can get both our cars in the garage.. i will post some pics soon..

so we got to spend our sunday dinner at park city with the holman's and it was fun we walked main street and had dinner and played games while hoping kaden would sleep, but Kaden was not liking bed time in a different place and he just had a bad night so rob and i had him sleep with us.. and Kaden sure can take up all the room in a king-size bed!!

so at dinner Kaden just couldnt wait for the pizza.. just kidding i think the whole teething thing is not fun so he bites almost everything!! and my hand was coming to help him not to bite the table!!

pioneer day

so for pioneer day my parents neighborhood does a big firwork show and at first kaden was fine but then they got louder and the booms got bigger and he got more scared.. so i took him out of his stroller and held him close (which he wanted to be held so tight) and he would watch and as u can see he enjoyed some.. but it was fun to have this tender moment!! I love being his mom!!

so i walk almost every morning with whitney and payton. whit has a double jogging stroller so we tried it out with our cute kids.. and sweet payton had to keep an arm on him at all times before we left they had them linked and then it went to around him or on his ear (which was cute and funny because she was facinated with his ears!!)

we got out his first car seat (the one where he needs to be facing backwards) and he wouldnt get out of it he just wanted to play in it!!

so Kaden has been sporting a mullet for some time now and we thought its time to cute it off so we had my sister (a cosmetologist) just trim it off for him! she cut while i videoed it.. so u can watc if u want..

so we let kaden just feed himself and he tried to feed his hair and the high chair.. it was funny to watch but horrible to clean up!! we love our Kaden!!
